Week 10 of 2026: Shock! Shock!
- It's getting hard to keep up with these notes; weeks pass by reaally fast.
- https://github.com/AlexsJones/llmfit I found this to know what LLM runs on your machine.
- I can't make sense of Nathan Shelley's character in Ted Lasso. He's just so mean.
- I bought a bread machine! Let's see if this is healthier and/or cheaper than buying from a store.
- Lots of work, poor sleep, and poor focus.
- Knuth at almost 90 years old is also finding awe in Claude https://cs.stanford.edu/~knuth/papers/claude-cycles.pdf
- I've been doing exercises and my injury seems to have calmed down. I haven't seen a doctor yet, but it seems like iliopsoas tendinopathy or something like that.
- I'm working on a POC using Nessie, Iceberg and Redpanda, toying with some Data Architectures. Having more metadata seems to be the solution to discovery. I wonder how long it will take for Virtual Knowledge Graphs to glue everything together.
- How does one do everything? It's hard to keep everything simple. Makes me think about t-shirts, as they get crazier with their messages over time. Last year I saw a kid wearing a shirt with a message that said "Stop thinking and try again". It lives rent-free in my head.
