Week 13 of 2026: Making friends and influencing people

  • I've finally caught up with my weeknotes.
  • I finished Ted Lasso again and I still love it. I finished the last season of It's always Sunny in Philadelphia and the remake of Scrubs. All of them are really good.
  • I've started reading good ol'"How to Make Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie. It's a classic though it reads a bit dated, and I am on a path to learn why people keep recommending it. Truth is I also want to make friends and influence people.
  • I am still hooked on Dead Cells, but I haven't managed to beat the game again.
  • Winter is coming in this hemisphere and I'm already wearing long socks.
  • Chainsaw Man ended and I don't quite get it.
  • I watched the second season of One Piece and I loved it. It's dumb, playful, and brave and I think it only works on me like that because I've been reading this manga for so long.
  • Second season of Dorohedoro is finally coming to Netflix, and I started rereading the manga since I don't remember anything. I think it's one of the most creative works out there; everything looks so grimy and yet hopeful or cheerful and weird.
  • I notched a personal record in the 21k at under 2 hours, and I'm spent. Next month is the actual race and I want to do better!
