Week 16 of 2026: Berkeley

These notes are very old, as I haven't been able to write them for a while. Some of them do not make sense to me now, so here's what I remember for this week.

  • Went to some talks to mingle with people in Chile. Went to Nerdearla in Santiago, and to some GovTech seminar. It's always a thrill to see people excited about things. I visited some talks about Quantum Physics, an essay on the parallels between Cyberpunk 2066 and Santiago. I also learnt that some of the platforms in Chile like ChileCompra are good exemples of public challenges solved by technology.
  • I've been thinking about doing a short diploma on Public Innovation. It's totally non technical but I feel that public service is a meaningful thing in itself.
  • I finished The Pitt, and the end was very powerful. One of the best shows I've watched these years along with Task.
  • Watched the film No other choice, because I heard that it was somehow the heir of Parasite, but I didn't like it that much I have to say.
  • I'm making progress on the guitar book. I'm on page 6 or something, which is great in my opinion. I bought a tiny metronome to to the exercises.
