Week 18 of 2026: Finding good objectives

These notes are very old, as I haven't been able to write them for a while. Some of them do not make sense to me now, so here's what I remember for this week.

  • I did not run too much this week. Maybe wanting to rest, maybe not wanting to run. It all feels like expected, after a big race. I ran on Saturday and my Achilles' tendon felt it.
  • We visited some other apartments and we liked one very much. Let's see how it goes.
  • I've reflected on my race and the things I learned about it. Even though for a minute I thought about not finishing the race, as soon as I saw an opportunity, I took it because it felt like the right thing to do. My resolve seemed to be related to how clear my objective was and the clarity of what needed to be done.
  • I'm watching Louie and it's really good.
  • I'm also watching the reboot of Scrubs, and The Boys. The Boys, being an Amazon production that already drifted away from the comic, and is now more about corporation greed and lack of human empathy, is hard to watch at times. There's this idea I saw recently because of Bad Bunny's performance for the Superbowl in the United States, that if the greedy corporations allow content that criticise them, then perhaps it's more about controlling the narratives, and never about the message. The real message is the medium.
